Plastic Free Day 9 – Plant Based Milk

9th September 2019 by Libby Jelley Leave a Comment

On this day I am looking a showing you how to make plant based milk it is so simple and inexpensive.

Plant based milk organic

  • A good handful of Almonds organic (soaked overnight) or hazelnuts, any nuts
  • Filtered water about 800ml
  • 2 dates If you would like sweetened almond milk
  • Sea Salt a pinch for minerals

Blend in high speed blender

You can sieve the pulp out for coffee or teas,  or leave it in if you are  using in cereals.   The Almond pulp can be dried in a dehydrator and it will make a dry almond flour and can use in biscuits or cakes.
